Ugandan children's choir giving free summer concert at St. Paul the Apostle

June 12, 2019

A children’s choir from Uganda is giving a free concert at St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Grand Rapids this summer, and you’re invited to attend!

The Imani Milele Children’s Choir will perform at St. Paul the Apostle on July 31 at 7 p.m. Their concert will feature high-energy cultural dances, drum routines, and worship.

The choir is part of Imani Milele Children, a Christian ministry which is serving almost 5,000 orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda. The organization’s name is a Swahili phrase meaning, “always believe.”

For more information about the July 31 concert at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, visit the Facebook event at this link. The performance is part of the choir’s 2019 Solid Rock Tour around the United States. Donations received at the concert will support Imani Milele’s work.
