Mission

Inspired by the Blessed Virgin Mary’s devotion to our Lord, Assumption Catholic School is dedicated to nurturing a joyful community of faith among students, parents, and faculty. Together our goal is to guide our students to eternal life with God as we teach, inspire, and promote the Good News of Jesus Christ within a rigorous academic environment. Our commitment is to living a virtuous life through worship, service, community, and academic excellence.

Academics

We are proud to be a 2020 National Blue Ribbon School! At Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we offer a personalized experience through small class sizes, four in-class teacher aides and an interventionist who works one on one with the students. All of our teachers are highly qualified and we excel in areas including band, art, music, physical education, technology and Spanish.

Faith

Providing opportunities to deepen students' faith is a priority at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To support this development, we offer our students regular opportunities for prayer and reflection including weekly adoration, morning prayer, daily Angelus, monthly rosary, prayer at dismissal, Saint of the Month, Vocation of the Month, and weekly Mass.

Extracurriculars

Understanding that learning extends well beyond the classroom, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities which include Science Olympiad, Math Club, MathCounts, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, a spring salmon release, theater club, and children’s choir. We also offer over 13 sports for students in grades 5th-8th through GRACEAC.
