Teachers throughout our alliance of Catholic schools regularly connect with each other to share best practices and further develop their expertise. Most recently, they met for two days of professional development focused around classroom learning labs.
Classroom learning labs involve host teachers who invite colleagues to observe them at work with students. Then, teachers debrief with each other to share notes and reflections.
Seventy-nine teachers hosted around 400 colleagues for classroom learning labs on March 8 and 11. Overall, there were 38 sessions focused on different grade levels and content areas. The classroom learning labs were held at 18 schools.
