Please join us in welcoming Luke Cunningham as the newest member of the Office of Catholic Schools! Luke began his role as Administrative Assistant on August 21.

Having grown up in Coopersville and graduated from Aquinas College, Luke is a West Michigan native. He fell in love with the wonders of Catholicism at his home parish of St. Joseph’s, for which he now serves as the Director of Youth Ministry. Providing opportunities for the youth to practice their faith in a community and grow in Christian fellowship brings joy to his work.

“This job will nicely complement my work in youth ministry,” he said. “Helping to foster a vibrant culture of Catholic education is very important in building the church and bettering society. I’m thrilled to use my talents in accomplishing such an important mission.”

Luke feels blessed to serve in multiple capacities for the Diocese, utilizing his talents to share the love of Christ and help build the kingdom. He looks forward to working behind the scenes on many exciting projects and assisting school leaders in providing the best possible education for students across West Michigan.

“I am so happy to welcome Luke to our team of Catholic professionals,” says Dave Faber, Superintendent of Catholic Schools. “His active participation with youth, deep relationship with the Lord, and eagerness to learn make him a great fit for this role. I look forward to partnering with him and providing exceptional customer service to our schools.”

Please keep Luke in your prayers as he takes on this important role!
