Welcome to St. Anthony of Padua. We have offered faith-based Catholic school education on the west side of Grand Rapids for more than 100 years! Today St. Anthony has 300 students in preschool through 8th grade as well as an on-site child care for children ages three and up.

St. Anthony of Padua is led by a team of talented teachers who TEACH, LEAD and SERVE as Jesus did.

St. Anthony believes our students are children of God, created in his image and likeness. (Gen 1:27) We commit as a welcoming community, to recognize the dignity and worth of every human being. (John 6:54) We recognize that every child has the ability to learn and that, as educators, we need to cultivate a passion for learning that exceeds standards and assures success and high academic achievement.

We encourage our students to be responsible and compassionate, demonstrating integrity in all they do and say. Lastly, we challenge our students to serve their church and community.

If you are looking for a warm and welcoming place for your child to BELONG. BELIEVE. and BECOME. visit St. Anthony of Padua School. School tours, tuition and scholarship information is available.

May God bless you!

Mission

St. Anthony of Padua School community engages students in academic excellence while guiding them to live as a reflection of Jesus.

Academics

St. Anthony embraces the Catholic tradition of rigorous intellectual inquiry through a strong academic program that challenges and uplifts students. Religion, language arts, math, science, social studies, technology, physical education, fine arts and music form the core of our curriculum. Spanish instruction begins in preschool and continues through grade 8. Accelerated reading and advanced math programs are available in the upper grades. St. Anthony offers caring teachers, small class sizes, personalized instruction, and a technology-rich environment that allows students to develop skills in programming, engineering, animation and digital publishing.

Here, the possibilities are endless...St. Anthony is a place to BECOME.

Faith

The Catholic faith is the foundation of our school and the focus of our mission. The goal at St. Anthony is that faith is both learned and lived. St. Anthony partners with the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist in providing Disciples in Christ - Virtues Education Program. In addition, our ministry curriculum provides students at all grade levels an opportunity to provide service and outreach in our local community. At St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School, we live what we BELIEVE.

JOIN us for our spirited and joyous school liturgies on Fridays at 8:30AM!
