“I know that I belong at my school, because everyone is so kind. I already have so many friends here! And the teachers get to know me better, which makes for a better learning experience.”
Across our alliance of 31 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, our mission is rooted in Jesus Christ. He calls us to value and love all people.
Families of many faiths and cultures, and students with wide-ranging abilities, find strength and meaning in our schools. Because of our stewardship and scholarship programs, families of all financial means do, too. Every year, the Diocese of Grand Rapids awards more than $500,000 in need-based Bishop’s Scholarships. Additionally, Welcome Scholarships are available for new families who have preschool and kindergarten students in 2021-22. Individual schools and parishes offer scholarships, as well.
Students in our Catholic schools know they belong and that their gifts enrich our communities. Contact our admissions team to learn more about enrolling in a Catholic school.
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids are an alliance of 31 vibrant learning communities (26 elementary and five high schools) serving more than 6,000 preschool through 12th grade students throughout West Michigan. Our schools inspire young people to grow in Catholic faith and grace, achieve more in school and life, develop creativity and character, and feel welcomed and cherished for their unique gifts. We partner with parents to awaken the whole child to a world of light and life — that grows better and brighter when children reach their potential.
