The alliance of 31 Catholic elementary and high schools throughout the Diocese of Grand Rapids along with Aquinas College were represented.
The NCEA honored Bishop Walkowiak during an April 22 ceremony at the association’s convention in Chicago.
The school held the anniversary celebration along with the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Events included a visit from Bishop Walkowiak and an Irish music concert.
