As David Faber announced last May, this school year will be his final one as superintendent of Catholic Schools in our diocese. I am grateful for the many ways in which he has positioned the diocese as a national leader in Catholic school education. His heart and passion for Catholic schools are unrivaled.

I accepted the position of Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Grand Rapids 14 years ago. It was my dream job - the one for which I had been visioning and preparing for for many years. I wanted the position because I believed there was so much
unrealized potential within the Catholic schools of the diocese. I believed an alliance of Catholic schools all working together was possible.

Dave Faber, superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, is pleased to announce Sarah Toepfer as the new marketing & communications coordinator for Catholic Schools.
