Dave Faber, superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, is pleased to announce Sarah Toepfer as the new marketing & communications coordinator for Catholic Schools. Sarah began her position on August 9.
"Sarah comes to us with a wealth of relevant experience, digital talents, and a passion for advancing the mission of Catholic schools. The marketing & communications coordinator role here is based on success we saw in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, which is a position she previously held,” says Faber. In her role in the Archdiocese, Sarah consulted and marketed over 100 Catholic schools across ten counties. Her prior work includes the eCommerce industry, specifically for kohls.com and meijer.com.
She grew up in Rockford, Michigan and attended St. Patrick School in Parnell, as well as Catholic Central High School (‘03). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications (‘07) from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her 16 years of Catholic education have formed her faith and fueled her enthusiasm for Catholic schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
“I am honored and excited to serve the Catholic schools here. Supporting their mission and elevating their message is something I am called to do,” says Sarah. “Working with faith-filled administrators, faculty, and parents is a dream and I truly feel the presence of God in everyone I meet.”
Sarah succeeds Greg Ghering who served for five years as the marketing & communications coordinator for Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
