Muskegon Catholic Central is proud to share a remarkable academic accomplishment achieved by their AP English Literature and Composition students in the '21-'22 school year. With the excellent instruction provided by AP teacher, Mrs. Dornbos, and through determination, effort, and hard work, 100% of the 14 AP literature students received a score of 3 or higher on their college board assessment, earning college credit.

Over the course of the school year, students were rigorously prepared for the AP English Literature and Composition assessment. AP English Literature and Composition is an introductory college-level literary analysis course where students learn to cultivate their understanding of literature and explore concepts like character, setting, structure, perspective, figurative language, and more. Data from the 2018 AP exams showed that AP English Lit & Comp is ranked in the top 10 hardest exams of the 38 total AP exams.

What an amazing achievement! Congratulations MCC!
