Bishop Walkowiak visits San Juan Diego Academy

Bishop visits with San Juan students

Students at San Juan Diego Academy in Wyoming recently enjoyed a visit from Most Reverend David J. Walkowiak, bishop of Grand Rapids.

Bishop Walkowiak visited on March 13, 2018. He celebrated Mass along with Rev. Stephen Dudek (pastor of Holy Name of Jesus parish and canonical administrator of San Juan Diego Academy) and Rev. Steven Cron (pastor of St. Joseph the Worker, one of San Juan Diego Academy's partner parishes, and co-chaplain of Catholic Central High School). After Mass, San Juan Diego Academy principal Rick Muñiz gave Bishop Walkowiak a tour of the school. The Bishop visited each grade and spoke with students.
