Offensive lineman Jalen Mayfield of Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids has been chosen to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 6, 2018.
Mayfield was recognized in a selection ceremony at Catholic Central on October 4, 2017. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl features the country's 100 best high school football athletes in a matchup of east and west. Learn more about the game at this link.
Mayfield has committed to play college football for the University of Michigan.
