Students representing all five Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids are among area pilgrims traveling to Washington D.C. for the March for Life.
The 46th annual March for Life is Friday, January 18. Pilgrims will march, pray, promote the gift and sanctity of life, and peacefully protest the United States Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion in the U.S.
Catholic Central High School, Sacred Heart Academy and West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, as well as Muskegon Catholic Central and Portland St. Patrick, have students attending the march. Parish groups and pilgrims from colleges and universities around the diocese are also participating in the March for Life, along with many thousands of others from across the country.
Please join us in praying for our pilgrims. Visit the Diocese of Grand Rapids website for more information about local involvement in the March for Life and Respect Life resources. Find national information about the March for Life at this link.
