Celebrate Catholic Schools Week: Achieve More in School and Life

Celebrating Catholic Schools Achievements

This week we are taking the time to Celebrate Catholic Schools Week in collaboration with the National Catholic Educational Association.

Research indicates that students who attend Catholic schools end up with higher test scores, are more likely to graduate high school, earn scholarships and attend college than their peers in other types of schools. For the past several years, in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, graduation rates have remained steady at or above 99% each year. Our Catholic schools give students a solid foundation for future success.

Our schools provide a personalized learning experience which is known to boost students' academics. Watch the video  to see how our programs prepare our students for life.

Catholic schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids are an alliance of 31 vibrant learning communities (26 elementary and five high schools) serving more than 6,340 preschool through 12th grade students throughout West Michigan. Our schools inspire young people to grow in Catholic faith and grace, achieve more in school and life, develop creativity and character, and feel welcomed and cherished for their unique gifts. We partner with parents to awaken the whole child to a world of light and life — that grows better and brighter when children reach their potential.
