Divine Providence Academy cuts ribbon, hosts open house at new early childhood center & parish office

Divine Providence Ribbon Cutting ceremony preview

A new day care and early childhood center has opened at Divine Providence Academy, the multi-site Catholic elementary school operated by the clustered parishes of St. Catherine in Ravenna, St. Francis Xavier in Conklin, and St. Joseph in Wright. The new facility, which also includes parish offices, is located on the campus of St. Joseph. Infant, toddler, and preschool/kindergarten programs are available at the facility, allowing St. Joseph parish and Divine Providence Academy to fill a need in the community by providing high quality, year-round child care. Divine Providence Academy also has a location at St. Catherine in Ravenna.

School leaders and students cut the ribbon and hosted an open house at the new building on Dec. 8.

“We are pleased to offer families a welcoming, Christ-centered educational environment for their children,” said Rev. G. Fredrick Brucker, pastor of the clustered parishes and the school. “It is a blessing to have this new building for our youngest students’ programming.”

“At Divine Providence Academy, we cultivate courageous servants of God by nurturing, strengthening and promoting leadership through academic excellence,” said Mrs. Kate Beuschel, school principal. “Our new day care and early childhood center is a beautiful setting for this learning.”
