Giving Tuesday 2022 - Tomorrow!

What is #GivingTuesday?
Giving Tuesday has grown into a global generosity "movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world." It is always marked on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year on November 29.

Why should we participate?
Giving back is what we do every day as Catholic Christians but Giving Tuesday offers the opportunity to share our Catholic faith by supporting Catholic ministries on this international day. Instead of giving to secular non-profits, some of which, admittedly, do amazing work, encourage parishioners, parents/grandparents and other members of your community to give to your Catholic parish, school, or their favorite ministry.

How do I donate?
All donations on Giving Tuesday are made online at bitly.com/givecatholicwm

After Giving Tuesday has finished, the diocesan Office of Finance will write your parish, school, or ministry a check for the entire amount donated to your ministry over the 24 hours. One hundred percent of every donation will go to the designated parish, school, or ministry. The diocese is covering the cost of credit card fees for online donations.

The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan has generously agreed to sponsor this year’s #GiveCatholicWM campaign with grants totaling $10,000!
