Happy Teacher Appreciation Week from the Office of Catholic Schools

teacher appreciation week

Dear Catholic educators,

"How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of the one bringing good news,
Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation,
saying to Zion, 'Your God is King!'"
-Isaiah 52:7

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all Catholic school teachers! In a very real way you are the spiritual first responders of our present circumstances as you have consistently brought the good news to our students and their families each day. Your accompaniment of your students and their parents through these trying times has been such a source of consolation, spiritual support and connection to the faith community they love.

We have heard over and over during the last seven weeks how much our parents have grown in their appreciation for what you do each and every day, and they truly do miss you, as do your students. This year we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week with a renewed sense of appreciation and esteem for the vocation of Catholic school teachers. It is our prayer that you will experience this blessing deep within your soul each and every time someone wishes you a happy Teacher Appreciation Week.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! May the Lord fill you with His goodness and love.

Gratefully,
Your OCS team: Dave, Jill, Shelley, Erin, Luzia, Greg, Conrad, Izamar & Estephanie
