Holy Trinity students ride in Michigan history

Riding in Michigan History

Students at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Comstock Park eagerly climbed into antique automobiles and went for a recent ride, all while learning about Michigan history and the automotive industry’s role in it.

They took turns riding in Model A and Model T Fords, brought to Holy Trinity by members of the Grand A’s and Portside A’s automotive clubs on May 11, 2018. Representatives from the Gilmore Car Museum also came, giving presentations on Henry Ford, the history of the Model A, and life in the late 1920s.

“Model A Day" immersed students in their studies, providing hands-on interaction with an important part of our state’s history. See photos in the gallery at this link.
