Jennifer Krygier named principal of Corpus Christi Catholic School

Principal Jennifer Krygier

Rev. Charles Brown, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Holland, and Rev. Michael Cilibraise, pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Holland, both canonical administrators of Corpus Christi Catholic School, are pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Jennifer Krygier as the new principal of the school. The elementary school is jointly operated by the two parishes. Ms. Krygier began her new role on June 17.

Ms. Krygier’s background includes eight years of teaching experience. Most recently, she served West Catholic High School for three years teaching English and Spanish, and prior to that, she taught at Lakeview High School for three years. She also has been an instructor for English as a second language for adults, a preschool teacher, and a professional tutor for students ages 7-17.

Ms. Krygier earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Grand Valley State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership through the Alliance for Catholic Education’s Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame. She holds certification in cognitive coaching with demonstrated expertise in guiding teachers and colleagues through planning and decision-making processes.

“We are very excited about Jennifer becoming our principal,” said Father Brown. “Her passion for Catholic education and her commitment to using her leadership abilities in a multicultural environment are impressive.”

“Her dedication will truly inspire our families and parish communities to make more disciples among our young people," added Father Cilibraise.

“I am thrilled to join the vibrant community at Corpus Christi Catholic School,” said Ms. Krygier. “It is a blessing to be part of providing students with an excellent education grounded in the faith, to guide them along the path to both college and heaven. I am excited to partner with parents, students, parishes and the community to help form disciples of Christ.”
