Please join us in welcoming Elaina Brugh (\brü\) as the newest Administrative Assistant in the Office of Catholic Schools. She began her role on August 20.

Dave Faber says, “This role is at the center of our office of Catholic schools’ team, empowering each of us to do our best work in ministry to Catholic schools. We are so excited that Elaina will share her many talents with us, as well as her visible faith and joy.”

Elaina comes from Christiansburg, Virginia where she was raised Catholic in a large protestant community. She attended Franciscan University (May ‘22) because she wanted an authentic Catholic experience. It was here that Elaina’s relationship with Christ was transformed and became very personal.

“I came to work for the Office of Catholic Schools so I could be a part of the mission to educate as many young people as possible in the faith,” says Elaina. “I am looking forward to working with Dave because he is so passionate. I know I will learn a lot from his work and his outlook on the Gospel.”

Elaina was called to Grand Rapids by way of her fiancé, Josh Kohane, who attended West Catholic High School and currently works as their Director of Campus Ministry. Please keep Elaina in your prayers as she makes her transition to Grand Rapids!
