Newly-installed artwork reminds ASA students of God’s beauty, saints’ faith

ASA newly installed Artwork

An inspiring painting has now been officially installed inside the entrance of All Saints Academy’s middle school campus, showing a group of saints adoring Christ in the Eucharist.

John McCoy, a Cincinnati-based Catholic artist, created the painting in honor of All Saints Academy’s recent 10th anniversary. It features the Blessed Sacrament being adored by saints Alphonsus, Isidore and Jude, a reference to the four parishes who together established All Saints Academy (the parishes of Blessed Sacrament, St. Alphonsus, St. Isidore and St. Jude). Alongside them are Our Mother of Perpetual Help, St. Albert the Great, St. Cecilia, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Joan of Arc, St. Juan Diego, St. Kateri Tekakwitha, St. Sebastian and St. Teresa of Calcutta.

McCoy produced the painting between February and April this year, and Bishop David Walkowiak blessed it once the painting was done. Now that a frame for it has been completed, it was officially installed in early November.

As ASA students walk into the middle school, they pass this uplifting artwork and are reminded of God’s beauty and the saints' faith.
