As if chasing a villain, costumed kids recently ran in the annual Superhero Sprint organized by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School.
The family fun run happened September 9 on the trails of Blandford Nature Center’s Highlands, which neighbors St. Anthony’s campus on the west side of Grand Rapids. Many participants in the run dressed up like their favorite superhero.
That same afternoon, the parish community also held a fiesta with food, live music and dancing.
