Celebrating our Faculty, Staff & Volunteers

February 3, 2023

"Teachers are the backbone of Catholic schools. On this day, schools honor teachers, as well as administrators and staff who support teachers in their important work, and thank the parents, grandparents, alumni, parishioners and school board members who provide volunteer service."

Catholic Schools Week 2023

January 30, 2023

Happy Catholic Schools Week (CSW)!

This is such an exciting time of year for our students, families, teachers, and staff. So much work goes into planning and executing all the special events, traveling to service projects throughout our diocese, inviting new families into our communities, and more. It is truly a time for us to express our gratitude and dedication to Catholic education.

To offer a high-level education requires well-trained people who are dedicated in body and soul to this profession. This is the case from Kristina Martinez-Precious who works as principal of San Juan Diego Academy, a school that belongs to the Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Wyoming.

The Twelve Days of Catholic Schools

January 6, 2023

By reading Fr. Hal Stockert's article posted to EWTN.com, we can learn a lot about the origins of The Twelve Days of Christmas (December 25, 2022 - January 5, 2023).

You're all familiar with the Christmas song, 'The Twelve Days of Christmas,' I think. To most it's a delightful nonsense rhyme set to music. But it had a quite serious purpose when it was written. It is a good deal more than just a repetitious melody with pretty phrases and a list of strange gifts.

Come home to Mass this Christmas

December 21, 2022

If you’re ready to be welcomed back, to be part of a celebration like no other ...one that will feed and sustain you ...our doors are open and there’s a place for you.

Gather with us as we await the perfect Christmas gift, our Savior Jesus Christ. Come home to Mass for Christmas!
