For some time now, a major concern for the bishops in the United States has been the declining belief and understanding of the Eucharist among the Catholic faithful. However, there is hope!

Tomorrow on November 30, nonprofits across the world, including the Diocese of Grand Rapids, participate in a day of giving.

Advent begins on Sunday, November 28.

At the beginning of 2021, Dave Faber, superintendent of Catholic schools, asked 100+ Catholic school stakeholders to answer this question: “How might we emerge from this pandemic stronger than ever?”  

ABVM, a National Blue Ribbon school, participated during the contest window of March 28 to June 19, 2021, and recycled 405.2 lbs. of oral care waste.

"This part-time, consultant position was created so that our schools can benefit from her broad base of skills and expertise, particularly in the areas of student support and innovation."

Across the 26 elementary schools and five high schools in the Diocese of Grand Rapids, preschool-12th grade enrollment for 2021-22 is 6,267 students.

With collaboration from educational leaders across the nation but specifically in the Grand Rapids area, Greatness in Smallness: A Vision for Catholic Microschools takes a closer look at purposefully small and sustainable Catholic schools.

The annual Family Fun Run was held September 19 on school grounds. More than 180 people participated.
